Così fredda, così quieta
A comic book about the city of Zürich. A journey in five chapters through its streets.
Each chapter is a walk, and each walk offers a glimpse into a different story: its past, its present, or its imagination. It’s an invitation to reflect on the relationship between art and power within this city.
Zürich is a city rarely talked about, and when it is, it’s usually the same topics that come up. Yet, taking the time to explore it reveals an unexpected complexity not apparent at first glance. This work is the result of my first years living here, wandering through its streets and trying to understand it.
The book has received the Comic creation grant of the Pro Helvetia culture foundation in 2023.
The book is published in Italy by Hoppipolla Edizioni.
